Next Up Facility Waiver & Rules
1. Acknowledgment of Safety Rules & Code of Conduct
I acknowledge that I have read and agree to strictly follow the Next Up facility rules:
Helmets Required: Must be worn at all times while inside batting cages.
Swing Zones: Bats may only be swung inside designated cages.
Capacity & Supervision: Limit of one (1) batter per cage. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Pitching Machines: Must be operated by adults (18+) only.
Netting: Do not pull, hang from, or climb the netting.
2. Equipment & Turf Integrity
To preserve the facility, I agree to the following:
Footwear: No metal or molded cleats. Turf shoes or clean sneakers only.
Hitting Direction: Aim only at backstops or designated targets. No hitting into side nets.
Prohibited Items: Sunflower seeds, tobacco, food, and gum are strictly prohibited.
Drinks: Water or sports drinks in spill-proof containers only.
3. Assumption of Risk
I understand that baseball and softball training involve inherent risks, including but not limited to being struck by balls/bats, pitching machine malfunctions, and physical exertion. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the facility and equipment.
4. Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to use the training facility, I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, hereby release and hold harmless Next Up - Indoor Softball Training, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, injuries, or damages arising out of my participation or presence at the facility.
5. Facility Etiquette & Right of Removal
I understand that sessions start and end on time and that I must clean up the cage before my session ends. I acknowledge that Next Up reserves the right to remove any individual from the premises without a refund for failure to follow these rules.
Memberships: Daily member sessions are for registered members only. Guests must book a separate “Cage Rental.”
Damage Reporting: Any damage to equipment, nets, or machines must be reported to staff immediately. Users may be held responsible for damage caused by intentional misuse or violation of facility rules.
